At MFFRD, we stand on the infallible and inerrant Word of God. We recognize the Bible as His inspired revelation to humanity—carrying sovereign authority over our hearts and our service. It is the divine truth to which we submit and the message we seek to share.
We believe in the one true and eternal God, who exists in a perfect unity of three distinct and fully divine persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are the same in substance and equal in power and glory, working together in the perfect harmony of creation and redemption.
God is a Spirit, eternal and infinite, perfect in His being and attributes. He possesses all power and knowledge, and He is present everywhere at all times. Unlike the created world, God is unchangeable; He does not learn or grow, for His wisdom and justice have always been complete and absolute.
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became man for our salvation. He possesses two distinct natures, divine and human, inseparably joined in one Person. Through His perfect life, sacrificial death, and triumphant resurrection, He accomplished our redemption. He is our sole Advocate and King, and we serve in the hope of His certain return to restore all things.
The Holy Spirit is fully God, co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is the divine Agent of change who breathes new life into our hearts and stays with us as our Comforter and Guide. At MFFRD, we recognize that our work is only possible through His power, as He works within us to transform our characters and sanctify our lives for His service.
Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone. We believe that sinful humanity is justified before God solely by the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ. This salvation is a free gift, monergistically wrought by the Holy Spirit, who regenerates the heart and enables the believer to repent and trust in the Savior.
The Church is the body of Christ on earth, governed by His Word and empowered by His Spirit. We stand with the visible Church in its mission to proclaim the Gospel of grace, observe the sacred sacraments, and maintain the integrity of the faith through biblical discipline and fellowship.
God created man in His own likeness, uniquely and intentionally as male and female. Through the disobedience of our first parents, humanity fell into a state of sin and moral inability, affecting every descendant of Adam. We acknowledge both the inherent dignity of being created in God’s image as male and female, and the tragic reality of our fallen nature which leaves us separated from God and subject to death.
We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God from the beginning of creation. According to the Holy Scriptures, marriage is the exclusive and lifelong union of one man and one woman only. This union is designed to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church, serving as the foundation for a godly family and the flourishing of human society.
